Thinker Frog

Large human-sized frog sculpture. I recently did some work for the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. They had me repair some of the frog sculptures there. Those sculptures have been there for about two decades and there was some wear and tear. I had the perennial favorite, one of my father’s thinker frogs. I used this as an opportunity to model my own after his. So this frog is my version of my father’s thinker frog that was put in permanent installation at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens many years ago and has been a favorite ever since. I was happy with the work that resulted from my having studied the design and created my own version.
